this article about JargerMonkey. Basically, Mozilla will be merging some of the Webkit JS engine in with their current TraceMonkey. TraceMonkey is already faster for code that traces well, but very slow for all other code; that's where Apple's Nitro Assembler comes in to play.
Pretty interesting, and very welcomed. Maybe we'll see Firefox return to greatness in the future...
